My experiences in these three weeks are somehow summarized in the following
final remarks.
10 Things To Have On A Plane
- A boarding pass, or else they won't let you in.
- Good earplugs, since planes are very loud.
- Some patience, if you want to go to the toilet.
- A good opening line, if you want to talk to your seat neighbor.
- A camera, if you want to take some great pictures.
- Chewing gum, if you have some pressure problems with your ears.
- Nose spray, if you have some more problems with your ears.
- Pen & paper, if you want to write a travel report.
- No fear of flying.
- A parachute?
10 Things To Have In California
- Water, and use it sparsely, they don't have much.
- A car, if you want to get around.
- Air conditioning, especially in the car.
- A compass, if you have orientation problems.
- A camera, if you want to take some great pictures.
- Road maps.
- City maps.
- Some clever way to find cheap hotels.
- Sun lotion.
- Breast implants?
10 Things To Have In New York City
- A MetroCard.
- A CityPass.
- Comfortable shoes, since the sidewalks can be very rough.
- A compass, if you have orientation problems.
- A camera, if you want to take some great pictures.
- A map of Manhattan, showing the main tourist attractions.
- A map of Brooklyn/Harlem/Queens etc., if you get lost there.
- An eye on your valuables, especially in crowds.
- No fear of height, since otherwise you'll miss great views.
- A good time.
